UN Secretary General Guterres recently called on all countries and stakeholders to vigorously promote clean and green development and let the world get out of the climate dilemma as soon as possible.
Guterres said at the briefing of the 26th session of the conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on climate change held at the United Nations headquarters in New York that 2020 is a key year for human beings to cope with climate change. Guterres said that the 26th conference of the parties will have four main priorities: first, in terms of national autonomous contributions, it is necessary to show that countries are working hard to implement the Paris Agreement; second, to establish a common direction of action, with all countries developing strategies to achieve net zero emissions by 2050; third, to develop a strong set of programs to help communities and countries Adaptation to climate change; fourthly, before the conference of the parties, developed countries must meet their commitments to raise $100 billion a year through public and private investment by 2020 to help vulnerable countries cope with climate change.
